Who we are

PARLA INDIA is a Twinkel Box product, run by its founder in the United Kingdom ("we", "us"). Contact: us.

What we collect and why

• Playing without an account. You can play without giving any personal details. Your personal best and daily best are stored only in your own browser.
• Saving your score. If you save a score we collect the name you choose for the leaderboard, your email address, your score and, if you give it, your role. The name and score appear on the public leaderboard. Your email is never shown publicly. We use it to save your result and to contact you about it.
• Updates. We only send marketing emails if you tick the updates box. You can unsubscribe at any time.
• School enquiries and Premium interest. We use these details only to reply to you or tell you when Premium launches.
• Game records. To keep the leaderboard fair, our server records the answers submitted with a saved score and uses your connection's IP address temporarily to limit abuse.
• Analytics. If you accept analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used. If you decline, analytics does not load.

Who processes your data

Our site is hosted by Netlify, which also stores form submissions and leaderboard data. If you accept analytics cookies, Google processes usage data. We do not sell your data.

How long we keep it

We keep leaderboard entries and saved-score emails until you ask us to delete them, and school or Premium enquiries for up to two years.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, or withdraw consent, by emailing us. If you have a concern about how we handle your data, email us first and we will respond promptly.

Children

Anyone can play without giving personal data. If you are under 18, please ask a parent or guardian before saving a score with your email address.
